Dr. Michael Jacob

Michael Jacob is a graduate of Texas A&M University with degrees in Veterinary Science (1976) and Veterinary Medicine (1977). His post-graduate experience includes the exclusive practice of emergency medicine until 1985, when he teamed up with Terry Dobson to open Lake Olympia Animal Hospital as a mixed (small and large animal) practice. Since that time his medical interest has grown to focus primarily on dogs and cats. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

Dr. Terry Dobson

Co-founder of Lake Olympia Animal Hospital in 1985, Dr. Dobson received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1976, both from Texas A&M University. Dr. Dobson is a general practitioner who treats primarily small animals and horses. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Glenda Wall

A native Houstonian, and a graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, Dr. Glenda Wall gained practice experience in mixed animal practice for six years and small animal and exotic practice for an additional six years before joining the staff at Lake Olympia Animal Hospital in 2001. She has a particular interest in feline medicine and geriatric problems of dogs and cats. Her professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Heather Remark

Dr. Heather Remark attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in endocrine diseases. Dr. Remark enjoys running and biking and has completed several triathlons, ½ marathons and a marathon.

Dr. Mary McCaine

Dr. McCaine joined Lake Olympia Animal Hospital in 2009. She owned a small animal practice in Missouri City for 22 years. She is board certified in Feline Medicine with special interests in geriatric medicine and feline behavior. Dr. McCaine has served as a member of the ABVP Feline Exam Committee as well as head of the Practical Exam Committee. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the International Society of Feline Medicine, American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Adrianne Brode

Dr. Brode is a native Texan and third generation Aggie. She received a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology. Dr. Brode earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2003. She worked in a private practice for several years, and at the Canine Health Institute before joining the Lake Olympia family. Her areas of interest include rehabilitation, nutrition, pain management, and stem cell therapy. Dr. Brode is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Information Network, the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians, and the International Association of Veterinary Pain Management. She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee program in August 2009.

Dr. Beth Rodney

Dr. Rodney graduated from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. After working in Maryland in a small animal and exotics clinic with an ABVP-Avian boarded practitioner for 9 years, Dr. Rodney returned to Texas in 2011. In addition to Companion Animal Medicine, Dr. Rodney has special interests in Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery. She is a long-term member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Rodney is experienced in working with all species of parrots and falconry birds, as well as small birds such as canaries and finches. She also has a special interest in Reptile Medicine and husbandry. Greyhounds are Dr. Rodney’s other passion and she has also worked closely with Greyhound rescue groups and adopters over the years.

Dr. Lauren Henderson

Lauren Henderson DVM, MPH is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and received her BS in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee. After graduation she attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine where she participated in a dual degree program graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with her Master’s of Public Health. In veterinary school, Dr. Henderson was involved in several academic clubs, focusing on exotic animal medicine, international veterinary medicine and the One Health Initiative. She was awarded a stipend from the American Veterinary Medical Association to travel to Mozambique with the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health, to assess a livestock development program as part of her MPH internship. Dr. Henderson enjoys seeing a variety of patients including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and pot bellied pigs. She also has an interest in nutrition.

Dr. Elizabeth Adams

Dr. Elizabeth Adams, a Texas native, was born in Dallas, graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Before and during veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal practice in Coppell, TX (near Dallas). Her particular interest is veterinary dentistry- preventative home care and periodontal therapy. This interest stems from her wish to become a human dentist as a child, but she combined her two loves to become a veterinarian who focuses on dental health. She’d love to teach you how to brush your pet’s teeth! Dr. Adams is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry.
