In House Laboratory
Our in house laboratory allows our veterinarians to get quick and precise information on your pet’s medical condition, and if needed, begin treatment right away.
Hospitalized patients can have their lab tests repeated during their stay, and results are available from our on site equipment.
Pre-operative blood testing looks for abnormalities in liver and kidney function, and checks blood sugar levels for hypoglycemia or diabetes. CBC (complete blood count) screens for anemia, infection, low platelet count, and overall condition of your pet’s blood cells.
Urinalysis testing can be used to detect the presence of any underlying urinary tract disease, such as infection or inflammation of the bladder, and looks for crystals or abnormal cells that might indicate bladder stones or cancer.
